SyncVoice Communications Adds Key Executives to Build Market for Hybrid Communications Management

Industry Veterans to Spearhead Enterprise Effort

COSTA MESA, Calif. - July 19, 2006 - SyncVoice Communications, a leading provider of unified management solutions for hybrid communications, today announced three new additions to its executive team. Mike Ortega joined the company as senior vice president of sales, Kaveh Mahjoob is the new vice president of engineering and Carolyn Lewis is the director of product management. This news follows the company's recent $4 million Series A financing from Clearstone Venture Partners and Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, underscoring SyncVoice Communications' growth and traction in the emerging market for unique communication solutions. The team augmentation will accelerate the adoption of SyncVoice Communications' VXTracker product to existing markets and greatly expand the company's presence with enterprise customers.

Mike Ortega, the new senior vice president of sales, joins SyncVoice Communications with more than 27 years of managerial and sales expertise. Mr. Ortega was formerly corporate vice president of worldwide sales for InterNAP Network Services. Mr. Ortega was in charge of all sales before and after InterNAP's IPO and helped position the company as an industry leader in high performance managed IP services. Mr. Ortega is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles.

Kaveh Mahjoob brings more than 16 years of experience in analytics and communications to his new role as vice president of engineering at the company. Prior to joining SyncVoice Communications, Mr. Mahjoob served as president of B.I. Resources, a business intelligence consulting firm he founded. Mr. Mahjoob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and an MBA in management.

Carolyn Lewis oversees all marketing and product management activities for SyncVoice Communications in her role as director of product marketing. Ms. Lewis brings over 20 years of experience in telecommunications product development. Prior to joining SyncVoice Communications, Ms. Lewis was manager of software development at Cisco Systems, where her most recent success was the development and delivery of Cisco's first SMB-focused service offering. Ms. Lewis received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has completed graduate work in systems management and telecommunications.
