SyncVoice Communications Inc. Adds Grant Thornton LLP to List of Marquee Customers
VXTracker Selected to Improve Cost Controls and Performance for 48-Site Voice Network
Costa Mesa, CA - November 15, 2006 - SyncVoice Communications, Inc. ("SyncVoice"), the leading provider of converged communications management software, today announced a contract with Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International, one of six global accounting organizations, to deliver a scalable voice management system for its entire voice network. VXTracker™, SyncVoice Communications' award-winning converged communications management platform, will enable Grant Thornton to improve the performance, security, compliance and cost controls of its hybrid communications systems.
With more than 50 locations to manage, Grant Thornton experienced challenges with visibility into all of its remote sites relative to cost control and compliance workflow across the extended voice network. In addition, the firm needed to successfully reconcile multiple carrier charges across the network. VXTracker software provides Grant Thornton with a mechanism to measure telecom expenses and to determine metrics, goals, and KPI's (key performance indicators).

Based on the information provided by VXTracker, Grant Thornton will analyze the data and look for opportunities for improvement, such as increasing capacity, negotiating a better price structure or calling plan with its providers, and implementing policies to control and prevent network abuse. Using VXTracker, Grant Thornton will then be able to also measure the success of those improvements.
With VXTracker, Grant Thornton's telecom operations group will be able to easily and directly manage call activity as well as T-1/PRI (Primary Rate Interface) costs through the improvement in traffic visibility network-wide. As a result, costs will be allocated back across the enterprise based on usage. VXTracker is also equipped with a call-fraud alerting system, allowing operations managers to effectively monitor unauthorized activity on the network.
VXTracker is a web-based solution that can integrate Grant Thornton's vast voice network from one centralized location. This will eliminate the need for hardware installation at each remote site. In addition, simple reporting features in the VXTracker software enable anyone from various levels of management to access network costs and assess performance at any time.
