Network Assessment

What is a Network Assessment?

Networks Assessments are network performance tests to determine what, if any, changes need to be made to support unified communications. Streamline Pre-Net Assessments involve the deployment of test software, the collection of simulated traffic data at Streamline Central SaaS host, the analysis of the gathered data and an expert consultation session to discuss the implications of the results. In IP telephony or unified communications deployments, pre-net assessments are best implemented before budgets are finalized so infrastructure changes can be identified, budgeted and implemented before the users' satisfaction with VoIP is required.

TONE has significantly reduced the cost and effort required to implement pre-net assessments. Learn how.

5 Steps To a Network Assessment

Here is the process of initiating a Streamline Network Assessment:

  1. Complete the Network Assessment request form at the right. If you have a need to test more than four nodes in your network (four locations) a nominal fee will be required. Of course, we will be happy to quote you.
  2. After you submit the form, you will receive an email with instructions on how to start and conduct your assessment.
  3. Streamline Central collects statistics on simulated sessions during the Assessment period.
  4. On conclusion of the Assessment, Streamline Central prepares the Network Assessment Report and emails it to you.
